Karen was the best part of the entire process of building our house. She is very knowledgeable, always available and understands the stress that comes with buying/building. I would recommend her to my friend and family and without a doubt would use her service again for any real state need. I built my dream home that came with a built in awesome friend.
2021. Once again, the time came to sell our house and Karen didn't disappoint us. She just make one of the most stressful processes in anyone's life easy. If you are looking for someone who cares, Karen is your agent.

If you're looking for someone who goes above and beyond to help her clients in what can be quite a stressful ordeal in buying/selling a home, Karen is the person to choose! She has helped us buy 3 homes now and sell 2. She provides everything you would expect from a realtor: responding to emails/phone calls promptly, listening to your wants and needs, etc. but what really sets her apart is her patience and ability to coach you through the harder, unexpected things. She is very good at explaining EVERYTHING and takes the time to make sure you understand and are comfortable with everything that is happening.

We all know how tremendous the task of moving can be. Karen Halprin helps with the demanding decisions that cause a lot of stress and frustration. Karen helped me thru all the phases of buying an investment property. This is my first foray into investment real estate and she helped me with finding the best short sale property in our area. She walked me thru all the steps and told me exactly what to expect. she also recommended an excellent attorney to assist with closing and turned me on to a good mortgage broker should I decide to finance the property.
I would have to say that Karen knows the Hampton Roads real estate market as well as anyone in the area and knows it both from an investors standpoint as well as a future home owner. You can’t go wrong if you choose to have Karen as your agent.
