About Karen

Karen McFadden has been in the residential real estate business for more than 35 years. As a daughter of custom builder C. R. Lange, Karen was born and raised on the Main Line and lives in Newtown Square today with her husband. Together they raised four children who today have blessed them with ten grandchildren.

After spending the first few years in real estate with her family’s company, she joined Roach Brothers, Rosemont Station office in 1985. With the various mergers and acquisitions from Roach Brothers to Roach Wheeler to Fox & Roach to Prudential Fox & Roach and now BHHS Fox & Roach, Karen maintained company recognition for her consistent annual multi-million dollar production.

As of January 2001, Karen redirected her business path once again and joined the RE/MAX Executive office in Bryn Mawr in an effort to continue to grow and control her own real estate business. She specializes in resale homes and condominiums, new construction and high-end luxury homes in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties.

Karen has earned her GRI designation, entailing 90 hours of course work and tests and her Certified Residential Specialist CRS designation. Most recently she has attained the SRES designation; Senior Real Estate Specialist.

Karen has been Overbrook Golf Club Women’s champion thirteen times during which she has served a two year term as Overbrook’s Chairperson of their Women’s Golf Association. She was a five year board member of the Radnor Run Committee, an annual charity event which benefits the American Lung Association.

Her family enjoys free time together and on many occasions play in local golf competitions. She and her husband are two-time Champions of the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Husband/Wife Tournament. Karen was runner-up in the 2019 Pennsylvania State Super Senior Championship.

The many business and life successes that Karen has experienced are due to her strong work ethic. It goes without saying that her honesty and professionalism will aid in the marketing of any home.
