Before working with Karen, I had no idea of all the down payment assistance programs that were available to first-time homebuyers. Karen’s knowledge of the programs allowed me to make an informed decision and the appropriate choice. She understood my needs and desires but it wasn’t easy finding a property that I desired, in my price range and move-in ready. Karen showed me properties that met my criteria but needed some work. She informed me of the 203(k) program designed for the rehabilitation and repair of properties. Karen showed me how the 203(k) program works; this was the answer to acquiring my Dream Home. I closed on a home and 30 days later I was living in a home that had a totally renovated kitchen, 2 new bathrooms, new windows, new carpet, freshly painted and new siding. I couldn’t be happier with my new home. Karen was clearly the best agent anyone could have. Her knowledge of the home buying process, professionalism and ability to get the transaction settled within my budget and below market value clearly exceeded my expectations. After going through my share of realtors, I came across Karen. I was so happy to have finally found a realtor who was willing to help me instead of looking at me as how much commission I can get out of this person. She was EXTREMELY patient with me through the looking for homes process. Always available for a showing. She assisted my husband and I with everything from locating a property securing a loan from a financial institution that could close on our property in two and a half weeks.She purchased a home warranty for our new home. Our AC broke less than one month of moving in and the warranty company would not cover the repairs because it was not properly maintained and that was an unknown issue. When we talked to Karen about this, we were confused because our home inspection didn't say that our AC wasn't in disrepair. She went above and beyond by following through with both the inspector and the warranty company. We have been in our home for just over two months now and she is still there for anything we need including getting us our full refund for repairs to the AC!!! Thank you SO much Karen!
