Karla has a vast knowledge of the many local markets within the Chicago area. Having lived in the city of Chicago and the near west suburbs for many years, she has first-hand experience with the different neighborhoods and their offerings. As a long-time local resident, she is an expert on Oak Park, River Forest, and Forest Park. She has set up an extensive network of Oak Park and River Forest business professionals and homeowners and offers invaluable insight on the local school and park districts and many community organizations. Having deep ties to the community puts her in a unique position to help clients target the perfect neighborhood to meet their specific needs and financial goals.

Karla holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She currently lives in River Forest, IL with her husband, Michael, dogs, Frankie and Sadie, and Freddie the cat. She enjoys cycling and tennis and consistently supports animal welfare causes and charities.
