About KARON

Karon Reese got her real estate license while working on a Ph.D. in literature at the University of Arkansas in 2004. She quickly discovered that she loves the exhilaration that comes with helping people find one of their big loves-their homes. She went on to become a top producer, getting her broker’s license a few years later. She moved to New Orleans part time in 2008 and full time in 2011, falling hard and fast in love with the city. When she is not listing and selling the gorgeous architecture of New Orleans she’s hosting Mardi Gras parade parties, not missing a day of Jazz Fest, and frequenting all of the city’s great restaurants. Karon, along with her partners, set up Reese & Co. Real Estate after 14 years of selling as a top producer in real estate.

Karon serves as President-Elect of the New Orleans Film Society and as secretary of The Roots of Music. She served for seven years as president or vice president of Friends of the New Orleans Public Library, for seven years on the board of the Lower Garden District Neighborhood Association, with five on the executive board, for three years on the Words and Music festival committee, and for three years on the development committee for the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights. She has been a member of three Mardi Gras krewes, is a member of two book clubs, and is a faithful yogi. She is completely devoted to her rescue dog Albert.
