Kate was the absolute best. Moving from out of state, we were nervous about finding a property when we couldn’t be in person. Kate made our experience flawless and fast. Kate was the best thing that happened to us on our recent move. We found out we had to move rather quickly due to a promotion. Kate quickly set up a review portal for us with our search parameters to start looking for places. Since rentals can go quickly, she was able to go to places we thought were interesting and sent us videos walking through the townhomes to give us an idea of the layout, setup, how well maintained, etc. for the rental option. She helped us coordinate with places to find one that was pet friendly with a fence. Any time we had an issue, she solved it - and saved us money negotiating with the owner of the property. Plus, I felt comfortable with her viewings of the places, we ended up saving our money on flying down to put down as a deposit instead. I would happily use Kate again for any other rental or purchase needs that we have. She helped make a stressful adventure (moving across the country at short notice) less hectic and chaotic. 100% recommend.

Kate went above and beyond at every point in the home buying process. It’s great when talking to your realtor feels like talking to your friend. She put our minds at ease over any concerns we had and explained things clearly and concisely. Kate helped me rent my first apartment, buy my first condo and most recently buy a townhouse and sell the condo. She is extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process every time I have worked with her on getting a new place. Not only is she there for me when I am actively looking to buy or sell but all of the in between times when I’m looking for help navigating refinancing, or for recommendations on who to go to for work on my home, or navigating issues with HOAs. She’s honest and will fight for her clients but also is an expert in the space and her recommendations are the way to go. She is not all about the bottom line and will tell you if there’s a reason you should not buy a particular property and she takes care of all of the little details and issues that come up with negotiations and let’s you know what you need to do week by week/ day by day to stay on top of the process. The one drawback is that she is an extremely busy and popular agent and you may begin to feel guilty or wonder when she sleeps because she is so fast to respond to inquiries and get additional information for you.

Being new to the area, we changed our mind 3 times on which state we wanted to settle in, spanning NOVA, DC and Maryland. She is very knowledgeable for all those 3 areas and never tried to rush us in a purchase (more than once she highlighted aspects of a potential house that could be problematic).

Love a realtor who doesn’t only sell to make money, but truly cares about your family’s comfort & well being. She was my sister’s realtor back in 2017, we met when my then boyfriend now husband tagged along in their home search and from that day on we were sold to have her be our realtor when we were ready to buy our first house. We closed a few months ago. Hot market but with her guidance and hard work, purchasing our 1st home was a breeze- it was the 1st house we put an offer to, late night, and within about 10 hours we woke up to the best news… we were two initials away in buying our 1st home! We’re moved in and settled, making the best memories with our baby. They say you can’t mix business and pleasure, but that’s not the case here. She’s like family to us at this point. Kate helped me both sell my condo and buy a new place and she was there for me throughout this incredibly complicated process. I put my condo on the market right before the pandemic started and it took three contracts before we completed a sale. She let me vent about the buyers that backed out and helped keep me calm through the process that eventually resulted in a completed sale. She also went with me (using all appropriate safety measures including wearing masks and gloves) to see houses that came on the market. Finally she helped me work through the process of requesting repairs on my new place and reassured me during the unexpected things that popped up. Similar to other reviewers here, my wife and I were a bit overwhelmed with where to start and how to navigate the landscape of looking for our first house.
