About Kate
Kate’s journey into the business community is nothing short of unordinary, and the skills she has acquired along the way have equipped her to serve her clients with the highest level of professionalism, strong communication, and genuine care for her clients and their family. She looks forward to being a part of their journey – and remember, she is always only a phone call away.
Kate was born and raised on the Island of Venice and currently live in south Sarasota County with her husband and two children. Her father is a licensed general contractor, so homes have always been a hot topic in their family. Kate grew up helping around on job sites – and love envisioning the potential in homes needing a little TLC.
Over the past decade, she has served their community in various roles, each entangled by a common thread; uplift and help others. She is a graduate from USF with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She began her career as an educator, but soon found herself outside of the classroom and into administration. She has the honor of serving as an assistant principal for Pine View School for the Gifted, Sarasota Middle School, and Woodland Middle School, where she was committed to being an uplifting, encouraging, and positive resource for teachers, parents, students, and business partners. Along the way, she has cultivated amazing relationships with people from all walks of life, and she is grateful for what each and every one has taught her.
However, as she said, life is full of changes. Her personal journey has fueled a passion in her to help others beyond the educational setting. She currently serves as a volunteer for a local non-profit, helping pregnant teens and families navigate pregnancy and parenting. Additionally, she is a FL Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator, and strive to be a resource to couples facing separation and divorce.
Kate genuinely believes that her environment has helped shaped who she is today and the love she has for her community. Growing up in this area, she was surrounded by generous people who dedicated their lives to making their community a wonderful place for their families. Because of their fruitful spirits, she learned at an early age the significant role they each play in caring for their community and helping others. Whether clients are joining their community or finding a new one, Kate looks forward to helping them!
