About Katelyn

Katie was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan but since 2014 she has embraced Chicago as her home, joining the Lowe Group in 2020. Before embarking on her real estate career, Katie established a successful career in the competitive world of retail, having excelled at the Bloomingdale's flagship store in downtown Chicago. Upon completion of the Bloomingdale's Executive Development Program, she was appointed to run the Women’s Contemporary Division and its $15 million annual business. This responsibility required not only strategic leadership and attention to detail, but also expertise in client interactions and recognizing market trends. Such experience, marked by both scale and complexity, has been a cornerstone in her smooth transition and early success in her real estate career.

In real estate, Katie has been able to combine her extensive background in customer service, sales, and management with her passion for style and design. Whether it be buying or selling a home, renting an apartment, or exploring investment opportunities, Katie is passionate and focused on helping her clients achieve their real estate goals.

Her intimate knowledge of Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods is an invaluable asset to those navigating the city's real estate market. Katie has lived in Lakeview, Streeterville, and currently resides in Lincoln Park with her husband. Over the past 10 years, she has explored the vast and various communities which make Chicago such a wonderful place to live, and she is eager to share her knowledge with prospective clients searching for the perfect home. Beyond her professional life, Katie likes to scuba dive, hike, and other hobbies that keep her connected to nature. Katie has also earned many certifications including Pricing Strategy Advisor, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, and Commitment to Excellence.
