Katelyn Gooch

Katelyn is a life-long Kansas resident and has resided in Belle Plaine most of her life. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fort Hays State University in 2017 and shortly after became a stay-at-home mom to her son Wyatt. After staying at home for 2 years, Katelyn decided she was ready to re-enter the workforce and joined her mother-in-law as a licensed real estate agent at JP Weigand & Sons Inc. in Belle Plaine. In 2021 Katelyn started her own real-estate team within Weigand with her best friend, Jamie Love: K+J Homes. She is a member of National Association of REALTORS (NAR), Kansas Association of REALTORS (KAR), REALTORS of South-Central Kansas (RSCK), and South-Central Kansas Multi-Listing Service (SCK-MLS). Katelyn enjoys staying involved in her community and her church. Katelyn and her husband, Ben, are both graduates from Belle Plaine. Ben and Katelyn have two sons, Wyatt, and Waylon. As a family, they enjoy playing at the park, going bowling, and watching The Jungle Book together. Spending time with her boys is Katelyn's favorite thing to do. Her other hobbies include reading and watching "Friends."
