Katen is simply great realtor and helper! After we had some bad experiences with our previous real estate agents, we were skeptical to work with another one for our new home in 2020 until we met Katen. She was not only enthusiastic but also tried really hard to understand our needs for both selling and buying. It was impossible for us to have such a pleasure with going through entire selling, buying, and also some home improvement projects without her help. I highly recommend Katen for your real estate project!

I have never been more excited to share a review of a service, than I am regarding Katen Swanstrom. Katen is a class act, and a true epitome of genius in real estate industry. I had the pleasure of working with Katen during what I would call a market tsunami. 2021 amidst the pandemic was one of the most competitive times in the sector. With the laws of demand and supply acting a significant variable, Katen’s professionalism, empathy, and expertise rose to the occasion, and we found or dream house.
One of the things I esteemed most about working with Katen was her responsiveness. She would literally go out of her way to assist and support our search for a home. Katen’s level of calm, cool, collectedness was unwavering, and this made peaks and valleys of a home search very manageable and fun. We saw the good, the bad and the ugly. Katen made sure we never settled for less.
We went from a business relationship to being friends. Thank a lot katen, you’re an amazing woman.

We found Katen on a whim and weren't quite ready to move forward with selling our old home to purchase a new home. She very professionally checked in on us about once a month to see if there was any assistance she could provide us for about 6 months. Once we were ready to move forward and the timing was right for us, she was 110% on board and available for our needs, questions, many showings in the current market, selling questions and concerns we had, etc. We have two little ones we had to bring with us to every home we viewed and she would sweetly entertain them to give us a chance to thoroughly look through the home(s). We never felt like a number (or income) to Katen; she genuinely cared about our family and our (very) specific wants and needs in a new home. Katen is so kind, so professional, very detail orientated, incredibly knowledgeable and truly has your best interest in mind as a client who is both selling and purchasing! As happy as we are to have found a new home we love, we miss working with her! We highly recommend working with Katen. She made this stressful buying market tolerable and kept our best interests at the forefront every step of the way!

I met Katen by a knock on my door one winter afternoon and she was an absolute delight. I wasn't immediately in the market to purchase a home, but she continued to check in with me, making sure to keep in touch and chat. And this went on for a year and a half. Once my search began, she made sure all options were presented and traveled, she walked me thru any inquiries I had ensuring I was not alone in the process. She also let me know when something was too good to be true, which I truly appreciated because as a first time home buyer, it made the nervous parts or uncertainties a lot easier to embrace. She is very informed in her position and I felt very lucky to have her in my corner. She was able to ensure some repairs were completed prior to my closing, saving me more anxiety as a new homeowner. I couldn't have asked for a greater resource, a more magnificent educator in home purchasing and after all was said and done, I inherited a wonderful new friend. Katen is seriously so amazing!!! She’s professional and really knows her stuff!!

We started this house hunting journey back in February & had her show us seriously like 40 houses & still hadn’t found anything. Then quarantine & pandemic hit & house hunting had to be put on hold.😒 Katen throughout all that was super patient with us & kept sending us things even though we couldn’t go out & see any houses.

FAST FORWARD 3 MONTHS - Post quarantine, we quickly found the house of our dreams & we can’t thank Katen enough for working her magic & putting in an offer within hours!! There were 5 other competitive offers & due to Katen’s knowledge, hard work & experience we were able to secure our home. ❤️

I’m a hairstylist so my hours are odd, I sometimes work until 8:30pm and I am not able to be on my phone during the day and she was accommodating to my weird hours and was always available!!

If you’re looking for a home in the twin cities she’s your girl!! I promise you won’t regret it!!!!

We met katen initially when we weren’t ready to move, but knew it was in our “5 year plan.” She was super patient and never pushy with us which we appreciated and then when we were finally ready to make a move she was very helpful in teaching us about the process. Again she was never pushy but kept just enough pressure on us to keep us accountable for progress. I also felt she had great “real life scenarios” she shared at houses we viewed like “this would be a great space for sleepovers for the kids.” Overall she’s been fantastic to work with- professional, realistic, honest, and personable. Definitely recommend!

We used Katen to both sell our townhome and to find us a replacement. The sale process was great. She helped us prepare our home for sale with very helpful suggestions and it sold super fast with two offers over asking price. She worked with us throughout the transfer process and made sure that all buyer’s concerns were addressed or answered. It closed exactly on time. The replacement process really showed off Katen’s skills and also her personality. She was very patient with us, because we where not sure of where to relocate and what type of dwelling we needed. We were downsizing significantly, but still wanted to have a place that was large enough to accommodate us. She showed us condos and townhomes in different parts of the city to help us decide on the type of structure, and then she guided us into something that exactly met all of our criteria. Throughout the processes she really demonstrated her concern for us, carefully listened to our comments and criticisms of the properties we viewed and helped us to understand the options and the pros and cons of each. Even after our offer was accepted for the new property, she continued to help us gain additional concessions from the seller. We would highly recommend her and would gladly use her again if we ever wanted to move again.
