Katherine Bell is a Principal of the Bell Petrini Group at Compass. Katherine Bell and Maddy Petrini started working together in 2018 and in 2022 decided to make their partnership official to benefit their growing client base. Each experts in the local real estate market, Katherine and Maddy bring distinct and complementary skillsets to every client’s transaction. Clients choose to work with the Bell Petrini Group for their in-depth market knowledge, responsiveness, and the thoroughness with which they conduct every transaction. They also make the buying and selling process approachable and fun! Relationships and referrals are the cornerstones of Katherine and Maddy’s business. They’ve closed over $75M in sales in the last 12 months and have completed over 250 rental transactions in the last 4 years.

Katherine’s career in real estate started in 2011 at a top boutique real estate firm in Wellesley, directly supporting the founding principal. Katherine’s exposure to high-end real estate and mentorship from top brokers accelerated the development of her real estate expertise.

Starting in 2016, Katherine spent two years in sales and client facing roles at Catalant Technologies, a high growth venture-backed startup. She was consistently a top performer and received numerous promotions over her two years, but as a Boston resident she continued to feel the pull of real estate and spent most weekends touring open houses in the Back Bay and South End.

Katherine currently lives in Wellesley with her husband Matt and loves splitting her time between the suburbs and city.
