Kathy Durbin, the daughter of a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer and married to a retired United States Marine Lieutenant Colonel for 37 years, is originally from Memphis, Tennessee.
Kathy began buying and selling real estate in 1974 when she and her husband, Phil purchased their first home. Buying and selling real estate throughout the United States during Phil’s 32-year career, Kathy also worked as the Tickets & Tours/Marketing Director for the military Morale Welfare & Recreation programs.
After moving to the Virginia Beach area to be near family, Kathy began helping others buy and sell real estate. Sensitive to the needs of both buyers and sellers, Kathy specializes in residential sales and takes great pride in helping others navigate through what is often the largest transaction of their lives. Kathy, a certified Realtor, has earned her Accredited Buyer’s Representative Designation and is currently in the process of obtaining her GRI Designation, with plans to obtain her Brokers license next year. Obtaining the honor of being awarded the Williams Team Top Sales Agent and Individual Top Sales Associate with multi-million dollars in closed sales, Kathy is proud to have helped her clients realize the American Dream of home ownership.
Kathy graduated from Alpha Omega School of Real Estate. Kathy is a member of the Hampton Roads Realtor Association, Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Real Estate Information Network, and the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of The National Association of Realtors.
