Kathleen Cavasino

Kathy Cavasino is a recent addition to the RE/MAX on the Bay team in Niantic, CT. She joined us after retiring from the Waterford Public School system, following 35 years of teaching middle school and high school physical education.

Kathy has great respect for the students and parents she is met over the years and hopes to once again meet their needs when it comes to buying and selling their next home.

Kathy’s choice to get into real estate after her teaching career was a natural fit. She grew up in Wethersfield, where her father was a builder and developer for 40 years. She knows the right questions to ask when it comes to buying and selling a home. She has personal experience with purchasing properties for flipping and investing, along with being an owner of rental properties.

Kathy has been practicing real estate since 2016. She has first-hand knowledge with all markets in real estate: first time buyers, move in ready, remodeling, flipping, and/or rental properties and condominiums. She also has great insight into the endless possibilities of buying and selling real estate. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty when it comes to understanding home improvements.

Kathy has been a resident of Southeastern Connecticut for the past 40 years. She is married and has two adult children. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening, biking, bathing at Pleasure Beach and spending time with her dog, Kona.
