Kathleen moved to the Washington, DC area 35 years ago via Chicago, Atlanta and Rome, Italy. An award-winning broadcast journalist at CNN, CBS and ABC, she has worked nearly 30 years nationally and internationally in network television news. She developed an award-winning online video network for one of the country’s largest custom publishers and has produced videos for nonprofits, associations, The Washington Post and Katie Couric when she was Global Anchor at Yahoo.
Since 1989 Kathleen has resided in Chevy Chase and Bethesda. Committed to community, she has been a Montgomery County Public School PTA President, Somerset Elementary Education Foundation board member and a middle school volunteer mentor. Kathleen is adjunct faculty for Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Broadcast and Multimedia Journalism’s Graduate Student Capstone program in Washington, DC.
In recent years, Kathleen has applied the skills she homed in the fast-paced world of news to her career in Real Estate. She can respond and negotiate situations quickly with effective strategies on a daily and minute –to- minute basis. She keeps her clients informed and educates and supports them every step of the way. Her skills and experience include tenacity, vision, attention to detail, knowledge of process, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver a successful buyer and seller experience. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and recipient of a President’s Club Award at Long and Foster. Kathleen is licensed realtor in DC, MD and VA.
