About Kathleen
Kathleen’s job title is real estate agent, but her passion is real estate advocacy. With care, collaboration, and a reputable network of service providers and contractors, Kathleen can channel the stress that many people feel when buying and selling a home into excitement and client success.
Rather than approaching real estate with a transactional mindset, her focus is on building relationships and achieving goals. There are so many moving parts to buying and selling a home, and Kathleen makes the experience as seamless as possible-with diligence, a proven process, thorough market research, and communication with a genuine spirit of diplomacy and collaboration. From repair people to home inspectors, Kathleen connects her clients with providers Kathleen knows and trusts, then work on behalf of the client to get the job done with ease and efficiency.
Kathleen puts equal effort into every real estate transaction, whether she is working on a luxury home or a starter condominium. Kathleen doesn’t give her personal opinion to clients unless she is asked; instead, Kathleen empowers them with the information they need to make the right decisions about their property. Kathleen is here to educate, guide, and organize throughout the process. Her understanding of an architectural program allows her to create beautiful 3D renderings to illustrate the potential of homes that may need some updating.
While all her colleagues and business partners are important to her clients, they especially love working with her loyal assistant Sasha, a little yellow lab who never does not bring a smile with her wagging tail and funny antics.
Kathleen became a senior real estate specialist (SRES) after helping her mom downsize from her long-time home. With decades worth of memories and belongings to sort, movers to hire, and attorneys to consult, Kathleen streamlined and managed what could have easily been an overwhelming experience for her, and she had contracts signed in a matter of days. This experience inspired her to focus her real estate skills toward folks dealing with this life transition. As a Certified Age in Place Specialist (CAPS), Kathleen can help clients safely and comfortably live in their home for as long as they wish, either through home modification or by downsizing.
Kathleen Moniello, MBA, SRES, CAPS, has lived and worked along the Connecticut Shoreline for 25 years and currently lives in Guilford. She earned her BA in Economics and MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. Before moving into real estate with Coldwell Banker, Kathleen excelled in insurance management, financial services sales, and sales consultation.
