Prior to founding her own company, Homes & Lifestyles, Kathryn built a successful career with respected firms including Frontier Better Homes & Gardens, Frontier Real Estate, and Colorado Mountain Homes & Land. As a longtime Colorado resident and seasoned Real Estate Broker, she brings decades of market knowledge, professionalism, and proven results to every transaction.
Originally from East Grand Rapids, Michigan — the beautiful Great Lakes State — Kathryn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University before relocating to Nantucket, Massachusetts, and later to Denver, Colorado in 1997. She attended the Colorado Real Estate Institute in Denver, where she obtained her Colorado Real Estate Broker’s License and discovered her passion for real estate.
In 2005, Kathryn founded Homes and Lifestyles, LLC, built upon years of industry success and a commitment to exceptional client service. In 2008, the company evolved into Homes & Lifestyles of Colorado. Al L. Brim III was appointed President following the merger. Al brings more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, including leadership roles with IBM in Boulder and HP in Colorado Springs.
Kathryn created “Your Home Team,” a professional home buying and selling team dedicated to providing expert guidance, attention to detail, and personalized service throughout every stage of the real estate process — from the first conversation to the closing table. Known for her strategic marketing approach, creativity, negotiation skills, and results-driven mindset, she has established herself as a respected real estate leader and top producer in Colorado.
Her mission is to make the buying and selling process as seamless and successful as possible. From preparing a home for the market through staging, pricing, professional photography, and marketing, to navigating negotiations and closing, Kathryn and her team are committed to delivering an exceptional client experience. Kathryn’s deep knowledge of city, foothill, and mountain living comes not only from her professional experience, but from personally living in all three environments. Real estate also runs in the family. Kathryn’s great-grandmother owned a real estate brokerage in Seattle, Washington, and several family members continue the tradition in Michigan, Arizona, and Washington State. For Kathryn, real estate is more than a career — it is a lifelong passion.
Kathryn resides in the Conifer/Pine area with her significant other, Al, and their two German Shepherds, Sophie & Grizz.
