Kathryn is a fourth-generation Oregonian who, along with her close-knit family, maintains the family farm to this day. Four generations of connections and community involvement means she knows everyone. If you are from Hillsboro or NW Portland, chances are you know someone who knows Kathryn.
Kathryn has a degree in Photography—she built and operated her own freelance photography business in Portland for over 20 years. She and her husband, Architect Ron Opp, designed and built their stunning home in Cassel Heights. Together they traveled extensively with their sons, developing a love of sailing along the way.
Kathryn is a Maker, through and through. She is a woodworker, an artist, and a dedicated quilter. She never misses the local fuchsia workshop, and she is often in the middle of a tiling project. Kathryn does a little of everything and everything she does, she does exceedingly well. If you need to know which blade to use to cut a prized piece of Purple Heart, Kathryn can tell you the answer. She is also a wonderful source of solutions for unique problems. We fondly refer to Kathryn as our 'MacGyver' for very good reason! Her love of collaboration and houses means she also happens to be a brilliant Realtor.
