Kathy was extremely patient with us, explaining everything step by step and providing us with all the support and advice we needed. Kathy was such a pleasure to work with! If you're a first time home buyer, she is your gal! She's very patient and extremely responsive. She always responded by email and text so quickly...nights, weekends and all. We worked with her entirely virtually since we lived out of state and she made everything so easy doing virtual tours and electronic doc signing. She knows the Charlotte area market well and we developed great trust while working with her to house hunt on the SC side in Fort Mill and Indian Land. This market is so crazy, but Kathy will fight like hell for you to get your dream home. And she knows you better than you know yourself haha. Kathy helped us buy our first home. Honestly, five stars is not enough for all that she did for my family. She stayed on top of everyone to make sure we closed on our home in 30 days. Her expertise and connections in the real estate world brought an immeasurable amount of wealth to our process. Everyone we encountered from the inspector to the contractor doing the inspection repairs were top of their prospective industry and worked 10x harder because in my opinion when you’re on Kathy’s list you’ll get great jobs. Kathy is by far the best realtor I have ever worked alongside (6 houses). When buying a home, she has great referrals/contacts and will set up all the inspections / any lenders / all closing preparations, and anythings else needed relevant to buying a home such as calling subdivision HOA boards for accurate information. She is very efficient, extremely professional, kind, and aggressive...she will definitely have your back. She even sends important reminders before specific things are due, i.e. appt. times/utility transfer, etc. I ask her to assist me again with selling my home 3 years later, and she was even better at marketing and selling my home (sold in less than 2 months). She is always prepared with excellent referrals/contacts post inspection, i.e. contractors / trash removal / lawn care, and had people at my house the very next day after my call in need. Kathy was wonderful to work with. Her calm demeanor made the process of finding a townhouse very easy. She was able to quickly pinpoint what our likes and dislikes were and she never pushed her opinions on us. Her negotiation skills are some of the best we have seen, we have bought and sold 10 houses(500,000$ -1.2$) over the past 20 years. When the appraisal came in substantially lower than the price agreed upon, Kathy negotiated with the seller to split the amount that was over the selling price with us. We would not have done the deal otherwise. She was phenomenal when it came to the walk through as well. There were some major issues and I almost didn’t close that morning. Again, her calm and professional demeanor kept me at ease as she quickly dealt with some of the problems. The closing went off without a hitch after that. We are so grateful to Kathy for helping us find our dream place in Charlotte. She continues to advise me on questions that I have. She is one in a million and I cannot recommend her highly enough!!! Kathy Norman is a wonderful realtor that I have had the pleasure of working with twice. Five years ago Kathy sold me my first home. I told her the locations that I was thinking and the budget I had in mind. Kathy stayed true to my requests and never attempted to show me houses outside my budget. The best part was that Kathy showed me some homes that were even better than the neighborhood that I wanted to be in. She has great insight into the market. I ended up buying a house that was absolutely adorable and doubled in value (due to the location) when I sold it later. Kathy was absolutely right that the location was upcoming when I bought it that many years ago.
