About Kathy

Kathy Swenson is a lifelong native of the Puget Sound area. She began her work career in banking and brings her innate understanding of financing options to the team, always with an eye to saving the client money. Kathy also worked for Nordstroms in their corporate offices, and she continues to personify the Nordstroms values and “to provide our customers with a great experience and to continually maintain our strong and lasting relationships with them.” Kathy and her husband settled in Gig Harbor over 23 years ago with their two children, now grown.

They love being a part of this wonderful community and enjoy everything it has to offer. Multiple family members agree, and have followed Kathy to Gig Harbor, due to its beauty, waterways, and outdoor activities in this area. With family and friends, Kathy and her husband, Rich, are avid boaters and enjoy the water year-round. Hiking, kayaking, winter sports and gourmet cooking are also what Kathy and Rich love to do together, and they can usually be found with a crowd around the kitchen island of their waterfront home on Raft Island.
