About Katie

Katie Brooke began her career in Real Estate in 2011. Prior to real estate sales, she worked in different areas of leasing and property management. Immediately upon becoming a licensed agent, she joined a busy and successful real estate team and spent her first four years as a buyer and listing specialist. She quickly became an expert in Greater Portland residential real estate and has continued to grow her business, helping hundreds of clients over the years. She has been part of the Vitalius team since 2018. In addition to practicing full time brokerage, Katie is a member of Portland Women for Good, a shared giving community working to support Maine nonprofits and the work they do. In the past, she has served on the board of directors for Birth Roots, a nonprofit organization in Portland providing community based education and support focused on pregnancy through the early years of parenting, and the Friends School of Portland, an independent day school. Throughout the years, Katie has found great joy in working with organizations that support children, families, and the outdoors, including mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters, supporting the work of Teens to Trails and participating in the Walking School Bus for the East End School. Katie grew up in various parts of New York state and Ohio and received her BA from the University of Dayton. Following graduation, she completed a year of service through the AmeriCorps VISTA program and did a bit of exploring in her early 20s - living in Colorado and NYC at different times, before marrying a Mainer and really setting down roots in the place she loves the most. Katie lives with her husband, Ben Guerette, and their family in Portland. They feel lucky every day to call Maine their home.
