As a homeowner, landlord and real estate professional, Katie Grieco prides herself on delivering a wide spread of industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and discretion to each real estate transaction for her clients.
After graduating from Penn State, Katie settled in Arlington, VA and began a career in sales and events with Design Cuisine, the catering company which has served the last six inaugural luncheons. There she planned and executed both corporate and private events of all sizes and scales in notable landmarks such as the Library of Congress, Mount Vernon and numerous Smithsonians. One of her most treasured events was working with clients whose wedding was published in Martha Stewart Magazine.
In 2014, Katie pivoted her career after developing important skills at Design. Clients came to value her attention to detail, patience and understanding, and her responsiveness to address needs, concerns and problem solve on the spot. The transition to real estate was natural for Katie. She’s since spent years as a trusted advisor to her clients - understanding that although this is business, there is still a very human element to each and every real estate transaction. Having this understanding allows her to effectively achieve her clients' goals—whether a first time home buyer or seller, buying and selling at the same time, or considering an investment property.
Katie's open communication and genuine concern for her clients allow both her buyers and sellers to excel in the competitive markets in Northern Virginia. When working with Katie, her clients appreciate her tenacity, her upbeat spirit and her honesty. Katie sets herself apart serving as her clients’ partner, educator and consultant and always shows she has their best interests at heart.
When Katie is not working, she can be found out and about in Arlington with her husband Jeff and English Bulldog Barkley, cheering on her Nittany Lions and practicing her golf ‘game’.
