Katie Kennedy

Katie Kennedy was born moving, as the daughter of a military father, pulling up stakes was part of their lives. She understands the nervousness, the sadness, and the excitement of every move; she especially understands it from the children's perspective because she was the new kid all the time. She has authored this fun book to help your little ones be part of and have fun with the families move.

She graduated from Cedar Crest College in 1984. She has owned a restaurant, run a Bed and Breakfast, and cared for patients in several environments, but her career in real estate has been the most rewarding. She has met amazing people, and fourteen of the people she has represented have left their careers and joined her here at EveryHome as Real Estate Agents.

Paul and she started EveryHome in 1999. In 1997, she was looking for a home on her own and was concerned about being the single Mom of two small children charged with providing a safe and cozy place in a great school district and a kid-friendly neighborhood, all on a limited budget. She really wanted to be able to do the research on her own but there was no way to find a home without on-going discussions with real estate agents. Paul was involved in the home-buying process at the same time and was similarly frustrated, so they decided to create a real estate agency that would provide homebuyers like themselves with the ability to see every home available in every location, in every budget, but most importantly in every school district. Their goal was to allow buyers to see the closing costs, look at maps and take as much time as they need to make an informed decision.
