I can't say enough good things about Katie and I'd highly recommend working with her! She was super helpful in listening to the things my wife wanted in a home and listening to the things I wanted in a home... and then working with us both to find a middle ground. Because we were telling her opposite things!
She gets 5 stars for marriage counselor and 5 stars for realtor. So if Google allowed 10 stars, that's what she deserves.
We closed on our house a few weeks ago and Katie was a solid professional throughout all the steps of the process.

If I could give Katie 10 stars I would. We met Katie at an open house. We were new to the DC area after living in another state for over 30 years. Katie did an incredible job listening to our needs and helping us explore areas of DC that were aligned with our needs. She was incredibly accessible and patient showing us many houses. She offers a rare combination of skills very helpful when searching for a new home including excellent business sense, design knowledge, deep familiarity with many neighborhoods in D.C. and Maryland, excellent communication skills, all topped with a great sense of humor. We greatly appreciated her ability to find houses for us to tour as soon as they hit the market and we also appreciated her transparency when houses were overpriced for the market. When we finally found the home we wanted to place an offer on, it turned out others were putting in offers as well on the property even though it had only been on the market for three days. Through her experience and her astuteness with pricing, escalation intervals and other variables to make our offer attractive, our offer was accepted. Her follow through in assisting us with finding other vendors to close and to move has been equally impressive. We will use her again when it is time to sell our house and will recommend her to all of our colleagues and friends.
