Katie Ledford

Katie loves real estate and is grateful to be a part of a profession she is passionate about. Her experience, as well as her positive personality, help her clients easily navigate the real estate process. Every home tells a story, and every transaction is unique.

Before becoming a broker, she was a college professor. Katie believes her educational background helps her stand apart from her peers and is another tool she uses to help effectively close transactions. She is very driven and goal oriented. Those who know her understand she has grit and a quality that also serves her clients well. Katie enjoys using her academic background and tenacious personality to help educate buyers and sellers and support them as they accomplish their own dreams. Another way she stands apart from other agents is that she is a local.

Katie grew up in Hendersonville and while her higher education studies took her out of the Blue Ridge, the mountains. She has been back in Asheville since 2009. Katie is an extrovert, which has made real estate a complimentary profession to her disposition. One of her favorite aspects of working in real estate is getting to meet so many people. She is grateful for how many of her clients have become friends.

When Katie not busy with work she spends most of her time with her children, Harper and Beckett and our Great Pyrenees, Millie. One way she maintains connections through others is through academia. Katie received her undergraduate degree in rhetorical studies from UNC Chapel-Hill, her masters in English from the College of Charleston and her PhD in Educational Leadership from Clemson University. Now her academic passions are pursued by being involved with IC Imagine and her children
