Katie and Sparky Pond were recommended to me by a neighbor when they sold their home a few years ago. I was told that Katie and Sparky would exceed my expectations... and they were right. I had decided to move out of state and was able to avoid all the hassles of repairs and upgrades by just turning it all over to Katie and Sparky. We worked out a budget for the work to be done and they took it from there. I received photos and status updates, and the smart, stylish, budget-conscious choices Sparky made dramatically improved the appeal of my townhouse... to the point I almost wanted to move back in! On top of it all, Katie worked to ensure my house sold for the maximum amount, which ended up being well above my asking price. Their performance throughout the process was outstanding and led to an exceptional sale at the end. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

Katie was the very definition of professional and responsive. Questions and concerns were always acknowledged quickly and often answered immediately. If the answer needed phone calls or research, Katie would complete it promptly. California real estate has a maze of requirements and disclosures, which she navigated deftly. But even more importantly, she established and maintained positive personal relationships with all parties involved that I believe is the ultimate reason I could close on the home I wanted.

Sparky and Katie are the ABSOLUTE BEST real estate agents a first-time home buyer could ask for! They are incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We weren’t sure what to expect during the home buying process, especially during a pandemic, Sparky and Katie helped us navigate the process from start to finish (and beyond) with ease and tact. They are very flexible and genuinely interested in finding you the perfect home for your needs and budget. We had a LOT of questions and are so grateful to the pond team for being on the ball every step of the way, readily available for calls any time to cover every contract detail with us. They even helped us successfully navigate multiple offers on our dream house! Plus they hooked us up with a handful of contractors to set us up even after closing escrow. Overall best experience ever. Highly recommend this rockstar team to anyone considering purchasing a home in San Diego!!

From the very first phone call, our experience working with Katie and Sparky was five-star!! They made us feel like such a priority, and always made time for us when we had countless questions, ideas, and wanted to see too many homes to count.

And in the end - not only did they find us exactly what we were looking for, but Katie took every step to make sure the house was move-in ready for us prior to our relocation from another state. She went completely above and beyond, and invested a considerable amount of time making sure every detail was coordinated.

My Wife and I recently purchased a second home in Oceanside using Pond Team Real Estate. Because we live 6 hours away, we thought this would be difficult to do. Compass made the viewings extremely easy for us. Katie would preview the properties for us based on the criteria we previously provided to her. When available, she would FaceTime us so we could view the properties prior us traveling to Oceanside. This helped us eliminate homes we would not need to view in person. Needless to say, when we were able to view homes in person, Katie had found us the perfect home. Their team made this the most seamless process we had ever had in purchasing a home, especially long distance. I would highly recommend this Compass team to anyone looking for a home in the San Diego area. They are the BEST!

Hard to even begin where to start with describing how much the Pond's have helped our family. I can start by saying that once we had been guided through the "getting the house sale ready" process (which was a GREAT and smooth in itself) we had listed our house for sale on a Thursday, and had multiple offers/bidding war and was in escrow 4 days later.

Once we were in escrow, I really loved the step by step timeline / reminders that we received along the way - it really helped to keep us in the loop of this very sometimes intense process.

The Pond's will always represent us in any real estate matters from here on out, but more importantly will be life long family friends.

Katie Pond is an honest, hard working realtor with a very positive attitude. But what I appreciated most is that she took care of many of the important details in selling my " fixer upper " house which I either didn't have the time or the expertise to handle. She did everything from arranging for a contractor to remodel the home, a roofer to do repairs, a handyman to fix the fence , a termite company to tent the house and a furniture company to stage it. In short Katie went beyond just selling the house . She managed the whole process of refurbishing it and them selling it.
On another note when the negotiations seemed like they were stalling Katie always came through with a creative compromise that that got us back on track.
Realtors don't get any better than Katie Pond!
