Katy Thoms

Katy Thoms has been a licensed Realtor since 2003. She is a member of Long and Foster's Gold Team as well as a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. She has experience working with both buyers and sellers and holds the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation. This sets her apart as a true professional who has completed a proven training program that teaches the specific techniques and concepts of staging which often helps sellers to obtain a higher sales price in a shorter period of time. She is connected to the community through social and volunteer activities as well as with her relationships with friends, neighbors, and clients who become friends. Katy is known for her cheerful, friendly and hands-on customer service. Using techniques from her previous teaching career, she is adept at patiently guiding her clients through the complete transaction, whether they are buying or selling a home. Katy has in-depth real estate knowledge and pays strict attention to detail which helps her to consistently provide her clients with excellent customer service. Because of these things, most of her business comes from referrals and repeat clients. When she is not working, Katy loves to read and spend time with her husband and four young adult children, especially at the beach!
