Kay Sherwood

Kay has been actively selling residential real estate since 1993. She works with buyers who are looking for their next home to purchase and sellers wishing to maximize their return on investment. Kay's past clients have referred their friends and family to Kay, which is why the majority of her business comes from referrals. Having worked with corporate executives who loved her service, she has earned the privilege of being the "go-to" REALTOR® of several large corporations and relocation companies. She has worked with CEOs and professional athletes, though she also loves to work with all buyers and sellers, whether it be their first home purchase or they've owned several homes.

Prior to selling homes, Kay worked for corporate relocation companies that facilitated all aspects of corporate executives' job relocation with her last position being the Corporate Marketing Manager where she called on Fortune 500 companies to assist in relocating their executives and implementing their relocation policies. She also served on the Board of Directors for Empire Realty Associates where she helped to manage the company's profitability, operations, and its sale to Pacific Union Residential Realty.

Kay is a native Californian and has lived in Danville for over 30 years where she raised her two children. She enjoyed being active in their schooling and sporting activities (football, softball, baseball, etc.). Now that her kids are grown, she spends time with her husband of 40 years and their Black Labrador, Buddy. She is passionate about helping others; one of the ways she gives back is by serving on the board of a scholarship committee that grants college scholarships to students of Contra Costa County who have a financial need. She loves to travel but her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.
