About Keaton

Keaton has been actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry since 2003. Originally from western North Carolina, Keaton moved to Manhattan in the early 2000’s to work for a real estate technology firm where he developed and created a web-based GIS system for real estate firms.

Keaton joined BlackRock in 2007 as an Investment and Portfolio Manager within the BlackRock Alternative Investment platform. He managed an approximate $1.1 billion portfolio of US based real estate investments comprising of retail, hotel, industrial and multi-family assets. His clients ranged from pensions funds, university endowments funds, sovereign wealth investors and high net worth individuals.

Keaton is involved with the International Council of Shopping Centers, Asheville on Bikes, Leadership Asheville and the Advisory Board for the Asheville YMCA.
