Hi! My name is Keely and I'd love to be your preferred local agent : )
I was born in Michigan and have since lived in 10 different states. Although my husband is in the military, most of those moves weren't because of him. Growing up my mom was what I lovingly refer to as a "hippie nomad". However, those moves did prepare me for life as a military spouse and helped me develop the ability to make friends with almost anyone.
In previous employments I have been a bakery worker, a movie theater assistant manager, a waitress, a phlebotomist, a bartender, a nurse, and most recently, a REALTOR.
I underwent training as a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt where I instructed and oversaw kaizens. In these training seminars, we would take a focus group, examine an inefficiency within a process and brainstorm ways to improve productivity, before then implementing the new way.
I was a part of the FRG (Family Readiness Group) with my husband's work for the last 6 years before I moved. We provided fellowship and support for the military families within his group.
I met my husband at a bar (classy I know) but I turned him down. We've now been married for almost 12 years and have three kids together. Obviously my resolve is very strong lol.
My three children are my world and my life pretty much revolves around their hobbies when I'm not at work. However, when I do have the chance, I enjoy baking (just starting to attempt sourdough bread), reading, painting, home renovation projects, swimming, and traveling. I also enjoy involving my kids in everything that I can, so, you'll often see them with me trying out new businesses and getting their opinion on them too. I am also MRP (Military Relocation Professional) certified meaning I went through special training to further enhance my knowledge on service members and the VA loan.
I got into real estate because I know personally how hard it is to make that move. Being married to an active duty military member, I also know how hard it is to do that from across the country to a place where you know no one and nothing about the area.
