Keith Keating

Keith M. Keating has a long and distinguished career in the real estate industry.

In the early 1990s, he co-founded Chicago-based Keating Development, where as president he was responsible for land development, financing, and new construction sales and marketing. Keith was instrumental in helping to successfully reposition the family business—initially created by his late father Joseph in 1960—and venture into new markets, including downtown and south suburban Chicago.

His efforts paid off handsomely, as proven by the many Key Awards bestowed on Keating Development by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC) in recent years.

In addition, Keith was president of KMK Realty & Development, Inc., which handled all home sales for Keating Development.

In the past, Keith served as city chapter president of the HBAGC and was a board member of the Attainable Housing Alliance—a public advocacy group that promoted housing attainability and affordable ownership.

He also was a licensed mortgage broker, registered appraiser and real estate instructor in Florida. Keith holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate finance from Florida Atlantic University.

Today, Keith is a licensed real estate broker in Wisconsin and Illinois. In 2009, he founded Keating Real Estate, a full-service real estate firm headquartered in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
