There is a lot involved with selling or buying a house. What do you do? How do you do it? What are the legal issues that I need to consider? What is the best price to buy or sell?

As of October 2016, there were 43,037 people ("licensees") that had real estate licenses that enables them to sell real estate in the state of Georgia. That means that your agent has gone to school to study real estate topics, and they have passed school exams as well as state-issued exams in order to obtain a Georgia Real Estate License to help you with your real estate need. Of those licensees . . . only 32,939 were REALTORS®.

What is the importance of a REALTOR® you might ask? Well, REALTORS® form a large association called the National Association of REALTORS® which provides home owners a voice in Washington, D.C. We help encourage lawmakers to consider the home owner regarding laws and taxes. That is why there are many taxes and laws that benefit the home owner.

The Georgia Association of REALTORS® has teamed up with attorneys to create exclusive contract packages that are used statewide from any REALTOR®. These contracts that have been created help protect the Buyers and Sellers from legal matters.

As a REALTOR®, I have furthered my education by obtaining my Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation. That is a distinction recognized nationwide for competence and expertise in the real estate profession. As of October 2016, only 2,354 agents had obtained that level of education in Georgia.

In addition to that, I am also studied to become an Associate Broker. That means that I have gone back to school to take an additional 60 hour course to further my studies in real estate as well as passing both school-administered and state-issued exams. There are only 17,248 according to the October 2016 reports of REALTORS that have gone to that level.

As you can see, I want to be well-qualified to serve you best. I take my profession seriously, and I want to be the best for you to save you the most money on the buying side or to get every dollar possible when you are selling your property. I want to help you, and I want to serve you with top levels of quality, respect, integrity, and service.
