This review is for Kelvin Peña

This is now my 5th attempt at writing this review. That alone should be a testament to the quality of work that Kelvin imbues.

In this terrible time to purchase a home (for actual living in as a primary residence) there’s bountiful reasons to put off the house search. To give in to the powers that be and rent for the rest of your life. And while these reasons are many in number, it’s easier to deal with them en masse when your equipped with a partner like Kelvin.

The multiple months of viewing a home, contemplating the worth of said home, realizing you need 30k on top of said worth just to get into the conversation and then finding out you are in fact NOT even inside the top 3 offers is grueling. It’s tiring. It’s exhausting and makes you spiteful.

Despite this, Kelvin did not waiver. He kept us in positive spirits often reminding us that when we ultimately find the house that won’t require a kidney to get…it will all be worth it.
Sitting in my living room, the day after closing and the only thought that passes through my mind is “Damn…Kelvin was right”.

This isn’t a review praising the benefits of home ownership. This is a review praising the benefits of purchasing a home while being assisted by someone who treats YOUR journey like it’s HIS journey. My family will forever be grateful of Kelvin and the mark he made on our lives.
