I wanted to share my experience on buying a home in Ahwatukee (Phx) while living in Tucson. – I was referred to Ken Boltz & his Team – I was reluctant at first to use a realtor as I thought I could do this on my own. My brother convinced me to reach out to Ken. I knew shortly after our conversation began, he was paying attention, in addition, it was apparent he knew his business as well as the market. Before the night was over, Ken had me “Linked” into his system of MLS properties based on the criteria I desired. After a few days of looking at exactly where I “thought” I should be, Ken started to incorporate suggestions of homes. I’m sure this was his way of letting me think I was still in control– he continued to provide with new listings to view every day in addition checking in with me at the end of the day for feedback. After a few weeks, the House I was looking for appeared on the market – Ken educated me on the strategy of our offer, the pros and cons of the property –Ken provided me with a list of highly recommended lenders, as well as Handymen, painters, and pest control contacts. Ken had been highly recommended by some friends of ours. Not having had alot of experience buying/selling a home we were filled with questions. Ken was awesome, he took time to answer every question (and a few we had not thought of.) He was an absolute jewel. He walked us through the entire process of selling our old home and buying our new dream home. It felt like he was available anytime we needed him. He helped us to understand each facet of the process without making it seem like he was talking down to us. He really is our real estate partner. Even after the sale, we remain in contact with Ken, trading the number of a good contractor with him. Although we dont anticipate needing to buy or sell our house, whenever a friend/family mentions they are thinking of it we right away give them Kens phone number and know they will be taken care of.
