He is married and the step father of two boys; Brad attends Hampden-Sydney College and Grant is a student at Halifax County High School. His family is a member of Grace Baptist Church where he is also an usher and on the security team. He recently completed his Associate's Degree at Averett University in Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership. He is also a member of the Town of South Boston Planning Commission.
