Ken Walden

Ken, an Ohio native, is no stranger to a sense of strong community and the importance of finding the right place to call home. Life and work changes within his family led him to Mauston, WI, in early 2020. Ken is a retired Army veteran with over 18 years of experience and service in four overseas deployments during the Iraq War. His long-dedicated service to the Army has fueled his passion for helping veterans, soldiers, and military families back into civilian life.

After retirement from the Army, Ken enjoyed several years working within the government before leaving his position to be a stay-at-home dad. Ken holds an Associate's degree in Administrative Assisting and Bachelor's degree in accounting. He enjoys visiting and learning about unique local Wisconsin communities. His Hobbies include all things outdoors: camping, hunting, finishing, and hiking. He is a loyal, hard-working father to his three daughters and a devout husband to his wife.

Ken's goals are to build lasting relationships and memories with community members. He hopes to bring his military experience to those needing assistance with the VA home-buying process and help veterans like himself establish residence within the community.
