Kendra Penski

Kendra Penski is a a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the Clinical Director here at Freedom Within Center. She has been providing therapy to adults for over 15 years.
She has experience working with military, Veterans, and their partners. She has specialized experience working with PTSD, MST, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She spent time working both at the military base and with the VA. Additionally, her partner served active duty in the Marine Corps for 8 years and continues to serve in the reserves.

Kendra honestly believes that therapy is a beautiful process of peeling back layers of oneself to help discover the true being. It is important to meet with a therapist you trust and who works to really understand you and the unique qualities you bring to the world. She is also a strong believer that humor, authenticity, and genuine care for others is an integral part of the healing process in her therapy room. This is a welcoming and inclusive space where people from all occupations can come to feel supported.
