About Kent

Kent Shelman is the better choice to be your broker, why? Kent has over 18 years as a real estate broker and he is also an engineer and an appraiser! Kent grew up building homes in the Pueblo area. He worked his way through college and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, then worked as a field engineer for the first nine years of his career mostly in Kansas. In 1996, he then moved back to Pueblo and partnered with two real estate appraisers to start Colorado Realty Reports, an appraisal and engineering consulting company that he still operates as a consultant today. Kent has several years of experience in environmental engineering, energy efficiency and the building sciences in general. Kent has done professional witness assignments and became one of the first H.E.R.S (Home Energy Rater) in the country. Kent caught the real estate bug and acquired his real estate appraisers' licence and a few years later his real estate broker's license in 2005! Having a passion to work with buyers and sellers, Kent brings all of his construction, engineering and appraising experience to being your real estate broker. Today, Kent brings all of his hands-on skills, building science and love of all things techy into being your best choice as real estate broker in the area. Having grown up in Pueblo and years of experience, he has in-depth knowledge of Pueblo and Pueblo West’s housing market, too.
