We tried selling our home at a time when the seller’s market began to decline due to rising mortgage rates. Justin did a realistic assessment of our home to determine a fair price. Darisha is extremely patient, very knowledgeable and professional. She was available to view homes on both weekends and weekdays.
A few things I picked up in working with her was her ability to point out tiny details + things that you may miss when touring a home - its great because you get to think about whether that little detail will positively or adversely affect your experience living in that home. If there were things we considered fixing she definitely had an idea of what the cost would be + offered her opinion on whether it was worth it to fix or better to keep looking. After our first conversation, She tailored our search to showings that fit the criteria. Not one home we saw was a waste of time, and that's important! Lonn was absolutely amazing. Took us on being in a tough situation with a time crunch and found us a wonderful home. We had great, friendly communication through the whole buying process, and he even was a resource for us selling our previous house despite having no gain from it. Lonn was clearly well-versed in home buying but was able to explain everything to us in a way that made sense. If he could make our move work despite all the constraints, Lonn can make anything work, and he's a joy to work with. My friend recommended Rachel Voncannon of Kerby and Christina to help me purchase my first home. As a first time home buyer (knowing next to nothing), not only did Rachel put me at ease but she was just so great at explaining every step of the way to me. I had certain restraints for what I could even consider purchasing and Rachel worked tirelessly to make sure we found something I could love love living in. I cannot stress enough that Rachel is the best. You will be in trusted hands when you work with her for your next home purchase. Even after close, she has remained in contact to make sure everything is still going smoothly and right by my side to answer any post-closing questions. She won’t ghost you the second you sign! I greatly enjoy working with Sarah Brown! She has helped me sell my condo in Little Canada, a condo that I inherited in Rochester, and to purchase my townhouse in Brooklyn Park. She has been so helpful and professional with each transaction!
Unfortunately, due to a water leak, the condo in Rochester sustained significant damage, and the repairs took a long time. Although it was frustrating at times, Sarah helped me through the process. Once the condo was repaired this spring, she quickly listed the property. Within just a few hours we had several viewings, and 3 offers. I'm happy to report that the closing was earlier this week, and I received more than the asking price!
When it came to purchasing my townhouse in 2019, I didn't have a good understanding of what was available in my price range. I hadn't purchased a home in almost 20 years, so my limited knowledge was outdated. She showed me a few different options, and we put in an offer on my townhouse the same day. She listens to what features you really want in your home, and finds realistic options.
I would highly recommend working with Sarah!

Erin was just amazing! I called her out early on a Saturday - a complete stranger - to see a condo FAST. In this market, time is everything. When I wanted to put in an offer asap, she pulled it off to help me lock in an interest rate. She helped me measure for drapes and evaluated the HOA and contracts - making corrections as needed. Jeremy Nelson reached out to us after we had done some new home searches online as well as a few other realtors. He gave us lots of information and ideas on areas we might be interested in checking out for homes. He really listened to our check lists of specific features we were looking for in home location and must haves in our new home. We have 2 dogs and one is a runner, so we had to find an area that allowed fencing. We also needed a lot large enough for a 3 car garage, and wanted to be close to our family. We set up a time a month later at our request to tour some homes with different builders and locations. He really nailed it with the homes he chose for us to view. We ended up finding a builder that we wanted to work with that day. Jeremy helped us through the whole process of working with the builder to find a lot and style of home. He helped us with any questions about purchase agreements, timelines and any other questions we had. Jeremy met us at the home a few times while it was being built and got answers from the builder about any issues that came up with the building process. Jeremy is one of the main reasons for this whole experience being so positive for us.

Shilo worked with our moms since August 2021 to find just the right house and yard for us-and our moms. We started our home buying journey back in September. I remember Cristina personally called to let us know that she'd like us to work with Rachel Voncannon who was also a new transplant to Minnesota! We came out to look at homes in October and Rachel was very nice and worked with our specific needs. Things changed and we ended up looking at a number of different homes. She was very flexible with our changing needs and always patient when I wasn't always sure about what we wanted and needed in our home. And also that we took forever as we just closed now in February... Haha. Rachel was absolutely awesome to work with. I would like to share my experience working with Kirby and Christina real estate but especially Chia my realtor. This was my first time buying a house So I did not know what to expect when I was buying my first house. I did not know there was a lot that had to be done in buying a home. There was bumps in the road during this buy, and Chia worked her tail off behind the scenes and I really appreciate it. I did not think this deal was going to go down. But because of Chia in her experience, and what she does, I can tell she takes her job very seriously and I am so glad that she was my realtor for buying my first house. I would definitely use Chia again as my realtor in purchasing another house or anything with real estate as my agent in the future. We are very impressed with the overall experience from Kerby and Cristina Real Estate. We were looking for a property in the Twin Cities area, but live out of state. We placed a simple request to speak with an agent on a Zillow listing and received a call within 10 minutes. The next day we had a real estate agent (David Lee) assigned to work with us and were being shown houses via zoom in under 24 hours.
David worked within our schedule and was very flexible and professional. When a conflict arose he worked behind the scenes to find someone else to manage the showing. He communicated promptly via mobile text and email, greatly simplifying our complex situation being out of state. He also paid close attention to our specific wants/needs and started bringing a tape measure to each showing and hitting our key points right away.
From our first contact to closing on a house was only 6 weeks. We would highly recommend Kerby and Cristina's group (and our new friend David) for real estate in the Twin Cities.

My wife and I began this process with only one thing in mind: we knew it was time to move into our forever home. As first-time home buyers, the indecisiveness was extreme: maybe we can settle into a bigger townhouse for now? Or leap and just get a house? Wait. My wife was ready to wait out the move until one-day Kerby & Christina - Real Estate Experts showed up in our search and meeting was scheduled to meet David Lee. In summary, he was the answer to the checklist and the end to our stress. His professionalism, dedication and more importantly his honesty and integrity made the almost-five months a breeze. I called Jessica Stephan (Kerby and Cristina Real Estate) around 7 pm on the 3rd day and explained our situation. By that evening she'd already connected with my friends to understand their needs, found pre-listed houses, and set up tours for the next two days! A day later she was helping them create an offer on a house they loved and it was accepted the morning they flew home! Words cannot explain how happy we all were and how much stress it removed for them to know that in a couple months they're moving into their new home!

My experience with Kerby & Cristina Real Estate was phenomenal!! Chia was my realtor and she was very knowledgeable, thorough, attentive to all my needs, friendly, amazing, and the list can go on and on. For our first appointment we met and she went over the purchase agreement and questions I may have about this whole process. She asked me what I was looking for and my top 5 must haves. Let’s just say I never thought about it, all I knew was I wanted to buy a home. After our meet, I knew I was going to be well taken care of. Over the course of my home buying journey we started looking at homes. Chia sent me daily listings to look over and decide which homes I wanted to go and see. This was an overwhelming process, but Chia was able to ease those feelings for me by doing weekly check ins to see how I’m doing if we’d need to adjust anything or see if I had any questions. She also provide such amazing insight which really helped me. I knew I could lean on her to give me the best advice and have my best interest at heart. During this process we looked at so many homes, when I finally found the one I couldn’t believe it and put in my offer right away. The sellers accepted my offer, and the process after that was like magic!! Everything fell into place and the process was so easy and smooth, like it was meant to be. Had I known this process was going to be this smooth and easy why did I wait so long, but I’m so happy I took a leap of faith and this is where it brought me. After closing on my home a few days later my laundry room, lower bathroom, and nook area flooded. It just felt like everything was being thrown all at once at me. I reached out to Chia and was so kind and so helpful which helped lessen my frustrations. She sent me a few recommendations to use and on top of that Chia and her team helped cover half of the cost. I literally cried because I was so grateful and thankful for such an amazing team who really does have their clients best interest at heart and willing to help out without missing a beat. I could possibly recommend a better realtor than Jordan Hules. with RE/MAX, Kerby & Christina Real Estate Experts. Being new to Minneapolis, it was important to me to have a realtor that was patient and would be able to really walk me through the process. I had no idea what I wanted or what area I wanted to be in other than a few "wants". Jordan was patient and worked with me to help me narrow down my needs and wants to eventually find me my perfect new home! In addition to being incredibly patient, she invested time, made herself always available and offered many personal touches that helped make the process comfortable and secured my confidence in her. A really touch and stressful process was made simple, fun and rewarding working with Jordan.

Amazing. This is my first property, so there was fear, anxiety and excitement . Through out the process, Justin has been so wonderful. Bill Gilmore is amazing. When I first contacted him, we had an hour long conversation, where he was already trying to figure out what kind of home I wanted. Our first meeting was going over the entire process + looking at some listings so he could create a custom search profile that matched what I wanted. Bill made sure to go on the first round of showings with me, so that he could get a better feel for what I liked, what I didn't do he could continue to refine our search. Whenever we found one I liked, he was quick to move on it so we never missed an opportunity; and after three tries we found my new home! Bill was always a phone call away during the process, and worked with me to find the exact right fit. I will recommend Bill to anyone who is entering the market.

Moving has always being a tedious task, but it becomes harder when you are moving to a different state that you do not know. When we were told that we would be relocating to Minnesota, we were very concerned with the process.
Jordan has been a great resource for my girlfriend and me, facilitating this process and making it less painful for us. We were so lucky to have Bill from the Kerby and Cristina team as our realtor. Sarah Appel is a true professional and truly cares about her clients and meeting their needs, no matter how specific.
I was looking for new housing and deciding between renting and buying as buying had always been in the plans in the next few years. I talked with Sarah and looked at a few homes and decided it was a much better move to buy rather than pay someone else’s mortgage by renting. Sarah provided an excellent referral to Mona Edick with Bay Equity and Mona and her team worked with me to find the best mortgage product and help me throughout the preapproval process and all the way through closing. Once preapproved, I continued looking at houses with Sarah and she helped me find many that met my needs - I ended up finding one that met all my needs and Sarah helped me determine the market and a fair offer. This offer was accepted.
Of course most offers are contingent on inspection and mine was. Sarah helped arrange for inspection with Doug Larent of Homefax Inspections - a very knowledgeable guy. Being an older home, I also had a radon test done. Home inspection came back without any major issues other than an older furnace and higher than recommended radon levels. With these findings, Sarah worked on my behalf to come to an agreement with the seller - it ended up that seller paid for a radon mitigation system to be installed before closing and furnace inspection be completed and pass. While the selling agent wasn’t able to handle items, Sarah took it upon herself to coordinate and make sure these items happened in a timely manner in order for things to not be delayed.
All the way through the process, you can tell Sarah’s passion for taking care of her clients. As a 21 year old, buying a home can be a daunting task but Sarah couldn’t have made navigating the process any easier.
I’m now writing this in my home after closing on Sept 1st and I’m glad I chose to buy my own home.
If you’re considering other realtors - stop your search now. Sarah is the realtor you’ve been looking for.

I've know Kerby for over 20 years and when relocating back to Minnesota after nearly 10 years away, I was so happy to have a trusted friend to guide me in the home buying process. We were glad they had knowledge about the whole metro, which is what we needed being new to the area and having no inclination of where we should end up. I wish Minnesota allowed their realtors to be less reticent about endorsing neighborhoods, but they were very skillful in providing us information. I thought they managed the contract and close processes very well. We were always informed about what was going on and what was needed of us.
They gave us a main contact and then filled in with others in situations where that person was not available.
They gave good advice about what to push for and what to let go on inspection results.

I needed to sell my house in a short period of time and try to get a fair return on investment. After listing with another realtor for 2 months, I found that I needed a realtor that would make things happen more quickly. Kerby was right on point. Within 1 day they set me up with a professional stager and photographer and got it listed. I found that staging and GREAT photos really make a big difference in presenting your home. Listing with a well regarded realty company is a big PLUS too. Their web presence drove people to look at my home and it sold with about 15 showings in under a month.
