Recently retired after 15 years from teaching, Keron has returned to real estate and the Bass Agency. A graduate of The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communications, Keron brings to the client over 30 years of professional and volunteer experience with an emphasis in client relations and marketing.
A resident of Andalusia since 1991, Keron is involved in the Andalusia community. She is currently the president of The University of Alabama Alumni Association, Covington County Chapter, has previously served as Vice-President, been a major organizer of the chapter’s Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament and has worked over the years to increase the number of scholarships the local chapter is able to provide students in Covington County planning to attend The University. A member of the Andalusia First Methodist Church, Keron serves as the Methodist Children’s Home Representative and works each year with the church to provide Christmas for the Covington County Therapeutic Foster Care Program.
Keron is married to Andalusia native, James H. Kyzar, III. They have one son, James Hugh Kyzar, IV, who lives in Tuscaloosa with his wife, Lauren Tousinau Kyzar and their three children, Jamey, Bennett and Ellis Kate.
In her spare time Keron enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, reading a good Grisham-like novel or researching her family ancestry.
