I cannot recommend Kerri highly enough. She's an expert and is everything else a client could also want.

Kerri sold my home quickly in a tough market and challenging circumstances. She listened to my priorities, needs, and budget, and then made everything happen based on those. EVERYTHING. Arranging contractors, making recommendations on courses on action, having information ready, dropping off and picking up things, and so much more.

With Kerri, selling my house was so minimally stressful and I aways was able to trust her judgment. That's exactly what we all want.

Through renovations, staging, negotiations and closing, Kerri guided us through with ease. She was always quick to respond with answers when we had questions and always so pleasant. Kerri and her colleagues are terrific! I was fortunate enough to already be connected with her through a local mom’s group, and when we decided to move I knew exactly who I wanted to use to handle it.
We had originally planned to rent out our DC house, and ended up deciding to sell instead. Kerri gladly walked us through both options, and handled nearly all the details. From helping us find a quality contractor to do needed repairs (and coordinating with them to get the work done after we had already left town), to getting great staging done at a reasonable price, to mailing me the things I accidentally left behind when packing to move (oops), she was a delight to work with.
When the contractor made us a list of all of the things that *could* be done prior to listing our house, she helped us get over the sticker shock and aided us in prioritizing what was actually important to get our home on the market. By the time she and her folks were done with it, it looked fabulous!
Once our house was listed, we had over half a dozen good offers within just a few days, and sold our home well above asking price! If you’re wondering whether to work with Kerri, don’t hesitate. She’s the best!

Kerri was truly amazing - she made the home buying process extremely accessible and easy to understand from start to finish. Having someone who has such a strong understanding of the area and the market made us feel comfortable making fast decisions in an aggressive market. My experience working with Kerri has exceeded my expectations. We found out our desired home was back on the market on a Monday and by that Saturday the owners accepted our offer. We were not the highest bid and acknowledge a large part of our success was Kerri's friendly but assertive nature.

Buying a house is stressful and she made an overwhelming process with a fast-paced purchase and not much lead time a very pleasant experience. Kerri also never pushed us too much or "oversold" anything to us. Our decisions felt collaborative and organic.

Kerri is efficient and calm when it comes to problem solving. Every hurdle that came up during the process was quickly smoothed over so we could move onto the next step. She also has a wealth of knowledge and connections to assist you through financing, moving, staging your home, etc.

Kerri was a lifesaver during our home search this spring--my husband and I are first-time homebuyers, and this market was truly rough. Throughout, Kerri was kind, knowledgeable, communicative, and supportive. Kerri is so easy to work with! Kerri was recommended by another realtor at RLAH who knew I needed my sale to be a mostly hands-off process. So while I moved to the West Coast, Kerri and her team took care of everything to sell my unit. They worked with contractors and stagers who would do good work at a fair price. And when the buyer ended up using the Home Purchase Assistance Program (DC), Kerri was able to clearly walk me through how that could change my closing window. Throughout the entire process Kerri thoroughly answered any question I could throw at her. She checked in as we got closer to closing to make sure the title company reached out and everything was all set. Honestly, it couldn't have been easier, which I deeply appreciated. No house buying/selling experience is entirely stress-free, but with Kerri's knowledge, experience, network, and good attitude, it came pretty darn close.

As a first-time homebuyer, I was very nervous about searching for and purchasing a home. Kerri took the time to walk me through every step of the process--explaining things as many times as I needed to hear them. She was never too busy to visit homes with us, arranging viewings quickly, and then taking the time to talk with us and help us figure out how we felt about each house. It turned out that a house we went to see on a whim after an afternoon of touring homes was THE ONE. Kerri immediately jumped into action, helping arrange a home inspection, drafting an offer on less than one day's notice, and negotiating a successful offer that stood out among others. After our offer was accepted, she continued to offer support, expert advice and encouragement. There was never a question that she was doing what was best for us. I especially appreciated her data-driven approach to analyzing our target markets and how she brought a calming influence to what can be a stressful and intense transaction. Kerri is a fabulous realtor and we are so lucky to have worked with her! She helped us figure out renting vs buying, worked with us to figure out our needs in a new home, and found us the perfect townhouse! I was referred to Kerri Murphy. She has procured tenants for me on two rentals so far. If I had known how pleasant and efficient she is, I would have stopped procuring tenants myself earlier! Each time she increased the rent that I previously had for each house, and within a few weeks the house was rented. My experience working with Kerri was fantastic! If you’re looking for unparalleled support with a personal touch, Kerri is your woman.

I always thought that buying a place in DC was a farfetched pipe dream. I was overwhelmed and daunted by the whole process, and sure I couldn’t afford anything in DC with my only-ok credit and student loan debt. Plus I’ve stayed away from a lot of real estate agents who kind seem like they’re moonlighting at lululemon. No shade, I’m just more introverted and small talk isn’t my jam.

Enter Kerri. She was my champion, so much better than a cheerleader. She went through every detail clearly and succinctly. She walked me through the different first-time homebuyers programs in DC (there are so many!). She sat with me as we called around to different lenders to see who would be the right fit. She worked with the lender to help me figure out exactly the steps I needed to take to get my finances in order. Whenever she didn’t know the answer to something, she found out, and quickly.
