Kerrie Mattis

Kerrie was born and raised in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, home of the groundhog who can predict the weather! In early nineties, Kerrie and her family headed north to Alaska for a new adventure. During her time in Alaska, she earned her BA in Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage and worked in all aspects of accounting for a world class ski resort. After receiving her degree, she earned a promotion as a Controller for a 5-star hotel in Anchorage. Once their house was empty nested, Kerrie and her husband decided to pack up and head south to a newer adventure that included warmer weather!

Being in the hospitality industry for the past 25 years, Kerrie has worked and learned aspects of property management; including the importance of organizational skills, being detailed oriented, critical thinking skills, completing projects on time, and providing the utmost professional service for each homeowner and guest deserves. She brings all of these to her performance daily as a property manager. Kerrie plays a key role in Lava Rock Realty’s property management division. Her goal is to provide the most professional property management service on the Island of Hawai’i. In her spare time, you will find Kerrie and her husband exploring the island on their Harley Davidsons, remodeling their new home, traveling, and hanging out at the beaches along the Kohala Coast.
