Kevin Carey

Kevin joins Compass as an experienced real estate broker and member of The Sheahan Group. Kevin received his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Prior to joining The Sheahan Group, Kevin spent many years in commercial property management where he became intimately familiar with the inner workings of high-rise condominiums, downtown office buildings, and industrial/manufacturing plants. It is from this vantage point, that Kevin evaluates every property he sees, not only for its emotional appeal but first and foremost as an asset that must be thoroughly vetted in order to achieve its full potential. Though Kevin welcomes and enjoys working on all types of residential real estate transactions, his area of focus is land acquisition for new construction development and investment.

Kevin is a lifelong Chicagoan, growing up in the southside neighborhood of Beverly, and has lived in several communities throughout the city, including the South Loop, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, and the West Loop. Kevin, his wife, and young son currently reside on the north side of Chicago, in Roscoe Village, as unrepentant White Sox fans.
