Kevin has a passion for real estate and customer service. Growing up in Lovell, WY he built several houses with his dad—he taught him the value of hard work, honesty, and what to look for in quality construction. He has a B.S. in Business Management from the Marriott School of Business at BYU with an emphasis in Real Estate Financial Services. Kevin is also a licensed attorney with a J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, and an LLM in National Security Law from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School.
Professionally, Kevin has served for over a decade as an active-duty Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps where he has represented hundreds of clients in landlord-tenant, contractor, and other real estate related disputes. Kevin understands the difficulties which can arise with real estate when there is a death or divorce in the family, and he loves helping people overcome the hardest challenges they face in life. Most recently he has provided legal advice to commanders in combat, and this work has been very gratifying.
Kevin has owned and managed several properties in Eastern North Carolina as his family has moved a lot, and they have settled in Hampstead, NC because it has been so great to them. His wife Brittany and he have been married since 2003, and they have three children. He understands the importance of good schools and resources for children with special needs. Kevin love the beach, food, people, and hospitality of Eastern North Carolina.
