About Kevin

Born and raised in Hanover County, Kevin attended Hanover High School and James Madison University. At JMU, Kevin studied History and Education and even doubled as a baseball and football coach at a local high school in Harrisonburg. After deciding that teaching was not the route he wanted to take, he was licensed in July of 2012 to represent you in the purchase of a home.

A salesman at heart, Kevin has always had a knack for getting a good deal. Growing up, he would go to yard sales with his father, who is a master woodworker and collector of antique tools. Finding used tools and cleaning them up, Kevin would sell them on eBay for more money than he bought them for!

With this attribute in mind, Kevin decided to get into the real estate business in order to help educate home buyers on the buying process – all the way from prequalification to closing!

In the summer of 2014, Kevin joined up with Ben to help form The Rogers-Long Team, which has produced over $20,000,000 yearly in gross sales volume since 2015 and most recently produced over $35M in 2020.

Since being licensed in 2012, Kevin has won multiple real estate awards. In 2017, Kevin was awarded the “Treat People the Way You Want to Be Treated” award by Hometown Realty and is a consistent winner of the Richmond Association of Realtors Outstanding Production Award. In 2019, he became a Junior Partner at Hometown Realty.

In his spare time, you can find Kevin working on his own home where he, with the help of his family, has transformed his fixer upper. This allowed Kevin to see firsthand what it takes to take on renovation projects – big and small – which comes in handy when advising buyers and sellers!

Kevin found someone to decorate his home when he married his wife Hannah in 2020. They are expecting a baby boy in November 2021. Outside of real estate you can find Kevin on his back porch, playing golf, or watching his favorite baseball team, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Kevin is known by his clients as a trusted and reliable resource. His positive and fun attitude makes him an easy choice for his buyers and sellers to count on!
