As a first time homebuyer, Kiersten made sure that my husband and I were always well informed and abridged to the happenings in this crazy real estate market. She made sure to take note of what we were looking for along with going above and beyond in making our wacky schedule work with viewings. She is incredibly knowledgeable and an advocate for her clients. She was conscious of our budget and made sure to constantly check in with us to gauge how comfortable we were with proceeding especially with the sudden rising of interest rates during our home search.

She also has a keen eye and nose to search out things in a home that us homebuyers would not be aware of, i.e. water damage, possible neighborhood threats, smoke, roofing issues, etc. She is super responsive and keeps a constant, open line of communication. She not only will be there during your search for a home, but after as well. She has checked in multiple times during closing and after we’ve moved into our new home. I couldn’t have done this without her and would not want to do this with anyone else.

She has your best interest at heart at all times. If you want a realtor that will always be in your corner and excels at their job, she is who you want.

Cliff Notes: Working with Kiersten made searching for a home fun, easy, and as simple as possible. She did this all during a time when buying a house was supposed to be anything but these things. She was detail-oriented, encouraging, professional, personable and knowledgeable. Infiniti stars for Kiersten and her team!

I worked with Kirsten to purchase our home in Portland in spring of 2022. All the commentary I had heard about purchasing in Portland had been incredibly discouraging and negative. Sellers market, all cash offers, multiple offers, all the things. And while it’s likely this is all true, Kiersten’s efforts sheltered us from feeling the effects of this. She was always encouraging and helped us to believe it was possible.

In our conversations and at home showings, Kiersten educated us so that when we were ready to write an offer we were able to compete. She treated us with respect but also was able to explain things like we were 5 when necessary. Because of all of her time and effort, we were able to write a competitive offer after one weekend of looking at homes.

After our offer was accepted, Kiersten remained in our corner advocating for us during inspection, appraisal, and even when a “water in the basement” issue occurred the evening before our closing date. She obtained estimates from various professionals following the inspection. We were out of state and Kiersten was physically present for all of this, updating us along the way.

Once we closed on the house Kiersten remained in our corner checking on our home and helping us out with anything we needed in the month before we moved.

We would certainly work with Kiersten again if we have the opportunity!

Kiersten is a wonderful realtor. I worked with her to find and buy a house during the most unimaginably difficult housing market for buyers. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help my wife and I find and land the house of our dreams. I say that without exaggeration. As first time homebuyers, Kiersten was an amazing asset and now friend that guided us through the process, from just beginning to look for financing, to coming with us to get the keys after closing!
She made time for us to look at what felt like 1000 houses before she found us the right one at our price point (even slightly below, as a matter of fact!). It was great having here there for all of the search, as she has a keen eye for water damage and potential structural damage, as well as being extremely knowledgeable about the desirability and quality of all of Portland’s unique neighborhoods.
Once our offer was accepted, Kiersten fought hard for us to get all of the little details that arose during the inspection that we were uncomfortable with taken care of. Through the entire process, which can be quite stressful, she was understanding and sympathetic, while maintaining a sense of humor that made it all kind of fun.
It is impossible for me to give a higher recommendation than I would for Kiersten. If you’re looking to buy a house, look no further than Kiersten Frey for your realtor!

From the first time I reached out to Kiersten, she answered immediately and from there on out she was ALWAYS responsive. She was a true professional with lots of knowledge on the real estate industry. She gave great advice on what to do to get our home ready to sell. During negotiations we always felt like Kiersten had our best interest in mind, she resolved issues like making sure HOA was held accountable for fixing our mold issue. Our closing process was honestly straight forward, and quick thanks to her ability to be on top of the required items needed. Wanted to write this review about Kiersten’s recent sale for us. She was terrific from beginning to end! She’s very knowledgeable about pricing, staging, presentation and advertising. She’s hands on and handled most of the details for us (as we were out of town). We just can’t say enough about how professional she was during the sale of our condo - in a tough market. She helped us price our condo perfectly for a 25 day sale. She handled the negotiations like a pro, and we ended up at a price with which we were very happy. Meanwhile, other condos in our building had languished on the market for 18 months! She even helped us find excellent movers ( but that’s a different review). Kiersten is kind, helpful, and hardworking. We couldn’t recommend her more.

Kiersten was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful along the journey from start to finish in buying our first house. She goes above and beyond, helped us negotiate our closing, and found us contractors and other services once our house had already closed.
