Kim Dean has been in Texas real estate since 2003. Aside from a brief time as a pharmaceutical sales rep, REAL ESTATE is all she's known since graduating from Texas A&M. It’s truly her calling and her mission field - and she’s passionate about her mission to reduce the failure rate in the industry, especially for fellow Realtor Moms.
After working for a homebuilder and 2 large franchises, Kim became an independent boutique brokerage owner partnering with her sister in late 2008. Putting her faith and family first has always been the driving force behind her business values and her company manifesto.
Kim re-branded her brokerage as Simply Texas Real Estate in March of 2019 and grew it to an office of over 60 agents before merging her brokerage onto the eXp Realty platform in October of 2021. Her “non-team” team has sold in excess of $500M since 2019 and has grown 100% organically by creating a family culture and an environment filled with collaboration and the belief that everyone can create their own version of success in real estate.
Kim and her agent husband Derek have received D Magazine's Best of Dallas award and Real Producer Top 500 in Dallas. She is an international speaker, having spoken on numerous stages and panels. In the fall of 2022 she became an Amazon Best Selling author for her collaboration on the book, “Women Who Boss Up in Real Estate”.
She is the mom of two boys and one furbaby. She and Derek are foodies, love to travel, visit wineries, cheer on Texas sports teams and spend time with their kids.
