Kim put on a very good presentation. She is a tget it done type of person. I followed her recommendations in upgrades to keep up with current market desires, she had her crew come in and start work immediately. Kim and the crew were efficient and affordable. It was a pleasure working with Kim as first time home buyers. We had little know-how about almost everything. Once we got in touch with her for buying a property she guided us through the whole process and helped us gain much needed confidence that buying a home is not as hard as it looks. She gave us contacts to get pre-approved so we can decide our budget. Next, she critiqued the houses that we liked very thoroughly for us (me and my wife) so we can make an informed decision. Later when we settled on a house, she helped us negotiate the price in a highly volatile market.
Even after we moved to our house, she was there to help us navigate through the change. Within the first month we started finding some previously uncaught non-trivial issues with plumbing of the house. It was great working with Kim in the purchase of our first home in San Ramon. She is very knowledgeable of the area and what it has to offer in short and long term. We looked at around 20 properties and Kim was very patient as well as thorough in discussing about what each property had to offer. She was able to show us properties within a couple of hours when we requested. This is a big plus in a market which moves very quickly. When we first met Kim Doel, she explained that her job is more service than sales. She proved that time and again with her thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Kim would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. Kim also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with.
