Kim Gelman

Kim has extensive experience handling real estate transactions both as a Realtor and as an attorney since 1989. Prior to starting her career as Realtor in 1997, Kim practiced real estate law for 8 years with the law firm of Baker & McKenzie. For the past 19 years, Kim has honed her real estate negotiating skills and marketing savvy as a full-time Realtor specializing in the Peninsula real estate market, including the areas of Hillsborough, Burlingame, San Mateo, and surrounding communities. Kim has represented countless satisfied clients, both buyers, and sellers. She owes her success as a Realtor to referrals from former clients. Clients continually refer their family and friends to Kim because of her professionalism and integrity.

In addition to her knowledge of real estate contracts and ability to effectively negotiate, Kim is innovative and creative with an eye for design and style. She has remodeled houses for herself and has assisted clients with the remodel process drawing on her trade contacts and her extensive experience evaluating floor plans and use of space. This talent is also invaluable for helping clients evaluate a home for purchase as well as preparing a home for sale. Kim actively participates with her clients in working with her tried and true network of contractors, painters, architects, designers, landscapers, and stagers to get a home ready for sale. She employs the latest technology and is on the cutting edge of real estate trends for her state of the art and highly customized marketing strategies.

Kim has resided in Burlingame, San Mateo, and Hillsborough and has an in-depth knowledge of these communities and the surrounding areas. She, her husband Andy Turner, a practicing attorney and a Palo Alto native, and their two daughters are very involved in the community and the schools. Kim is active with the Hillsborough Schools Foundation and Burlingame High School.
