I’m not one who generally writes “reviews”, but I cannot let this opportunity go by without sharing our personal experiences with Holmes Glorioso Home Group.

Our journey began with my wife and I wanting to move from a three level townhouse that she’s owned for the past 37 years to a fully detached home that has not only everything that we’ll need in our older years all on one floor, but also a nice yard for our grandchildren to enjoy with us.

We found what we thought might be the perfect home and, being unrepresented buyers, contacted the selling agent, Kim Lally Holmes, to request a showing.

Angela Glorioso met us at the property the very next day and showed us the home. Although we did not purchase this particular property, we knew that Angela was “the one” that we wanted to represent us as buyers moving forward. Her knowledge, charm, personality and her “no holds barred” work ethic is a rare find these days and we immediately fell in love with her.

We did find that perfect home and Angela made sure that we not only got it at a great price, but also had a smooth transaction and settlement. She knew exactly what to do even when things almost went just a little south. Her communication, negotiation skills, knowledge and honest advice was priceless...!!!

During the buying process, we still owned our town home and knew that we’d need to sell it quickly. Kim took charge of this task and did an amazing job for us.

Both Kim and Angela met with us at our townhouse and we gave them a tour. They immediately knew exactly what we needed to do to get both the best price and a quick sale.

The things that they advised us to do was wasn’t much and was well worth the time and effort. They even sent their stager, Sierra, to advise us on how to declutter and arrange our house to offer the best showing. At first, I thought this was a waste of time, but ultimately found it to be an invaluable service. Sierra is amazing...!!!

Marty, their photographer, also did an amazing job and the listing photos were beautiful, perfectly framed and showed the full potential of our town home...!!!

Ultimately, Kim and Angela were spot on with both their suggested listing price and the time it would take to sell. Our townhouse sold in FOUR DAYS, received multiple offers and sold for MORE than the asking price. We could not have been more pleased with their expertise, attitude and, obviously, the end results.

During the entire process for both transactions (buying and selling), Maggie Calhoun and Autumn Rose kept us informed and up to date every step of the way. I even received a weekly “milestone update” and a personal phone call from Maggie every Friday afternoon.

Earlier this year, at the peak of one of the tightest real estate markets in decades, my wife and I retained Kim Lally Holmes of The Holmes Glorioso Home Group to assist us in selling our house in Eldersburg, MD and in finding a new house (hopefully our last) in nearby Catonsville. We knew there'd be challenges -- the bidding wars we'd read about, the dearth of Catonsville listings, the lack of clearcut comparables for our Eldersburg house -- so it was critical to find a knowledgeable and experienced agent. And Kim Lally Holmes is exactly that -- the consummate professional. At every step of the process she was well-prepared, exceptionally proactive, and unfailingly patient in answering our many questions, at whatever hour of the day or evening. She always seemed to know, for example, when a new listing would be "coming soon" in a particular Catonsville neighborhood, and if the property interested us, she would quickly arrange for the earliest-possible showing once the listing went public. It was in this way that we found our current house, and when multiple offers were made on the house within days of the listing (as Kim had prepared us for), it was with Kim's able guidance that our negotiating strategy was settled on and, as I am convinced, in significant part through Kim's negotiating skills that our offer was accepted. The moving process can be so overwhelming and stressful, or so I had heard. I was nervous to start the process. From the very beginning Kim and Julia assured me that finding the right agent is just as important as selling our home and buying another one. They offered to audition for the job! From our first meeting with them we were in awe of all the knowledge and experience Holmes Glorioso Home Group has to offer. I have never worked with a more reliable or professional group. Kim has built an amazing team around her, and you can see that each person takes pride in what they do.
Throughout the entire process every member of the team provided us clear communication, a list of next steps, and plenty of reassurance. We knew we could count on our weekly email and follow up call, to make sure we understood where we were in the process and to address any questions or concern’s we may have had. Please let me explain my absolute love and appreciation of the Holmes Glorioso Home Group. They literally rescued me from my first realtor. Talk about saved the day!

I was referred to my first realtor by a friend and she was complete nightmare from start to finish. I remained patient with the first realtor for as long as I could before deciding to break the contract. The minute I was let out of my contract I literally RAN to Kim Lally-Holmes of Holmes Glorioso Home Group to take over. Best decision I could have made. She listened to my needs and took action.

My house was on the market with the first realtor for a MONTH before I decided to part ways with her. The town home across the street with the same square footage, layout, with similar decor and pricing; received an offer an offer within a week. My house was on day 28 of being listed and had yet to receive an offer. I called Kim in a panic. Kim was extremely professional, knowledgeable and understood the importance of moving quickly to get my house sold. My anxiety and stress subsided the minute she took over. I was selling a beautiful townhome that presented like a model home. There was no need for staging. Unfortunately the first realtor was not equipped with the tools or professionalism to get my home sold.

Kim came to my rescue and once paperwork and new photos were taken it was back on the market and received an offer in less than a week! Kim and her team are AMAZING. They provided a timeline of the process and then followed up with weekly updates every step of the way. They even followed up with a phone call each week to ensure that all my questions were answered.

Our realtor, Angela, was extremely responsive when we were ready to start looking at houses.
