Kim McAtee & Megan Deverel | Trusted. Strategic. Results-Driven.
For Kim McAtee and Megan Deverel, real estate is a multigenerational mission—rooted in trust, built on expertise, and powered by relationships. Together, this mother-daughter team brings a rare combination of experience, insight, and heart to every client they serve.
Kim launched her real estate career in 2002 after a successful 20-year run in corporate business, where she honed her negotiation skills as a compensation consultant and developed a sharp eye for contracts and pricing strategy. Today, she remains a top-performing REALTOR®, with 98% of her business coming from repeat and referral clients—a testament to the loyalty she inspires and the results she delivers.
Megan Deverel, a licensed REALTOR® since 2007, officially joined Kim’s business in 2012. With a BA in English from Saint Mary’s College and an MA in Philosophy from San Francisco State University, Megan brings both intellectual rigor and emotional intelligence to every transaction. Her background in communications and client engagement adds a modern edge to their proven process. Clients benefit from their combined strengths: Kim’s strategic thinking and steady hand, Megan’s sharp execution and detail orientation, and their shared commitment to providing the kind of care that lasts long after closing.
A second-generation Northern Californian, Kim is a lifelong East Bay local and UC Berkeley alum (BA in French), with an Executive MBA in Global Business from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga. Megan, also an East Bay native, continues the family legacy of local insight and community connection.
Kim is certified in both luxury estate sales and relocation services and has been featured on KDOW’s Wall Street Business Network. She and Megan are known for their deep bench of trusted vendors and service professionals—a network that helps clients navigate everything from pre-sale prep to post-move settling with confidence and ease.
Outside of real estate, Kim co-founded Super Stars Literacy, a nonprofit focused on early childhood reading success. She and her husband, Jim, have been married for over 20 years and enjoy traveling and spending time with their growing family—especially when it involves real estate stories across generations.
